Welcome to EZOO Travels. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the use of our corporate car rentals, employee transport packages, and executive transit services. By booking a ride or establishing a corporate account with EZOO Travels, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (referred to as "the Client", "Passenger", or "User") and EZOO Travels. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a corporate entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such entity to these conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not proceed with booking or utilizing our services.
2. Booking & Scheduling Policies
All booking requests are processed subject to fleet availability and driver assignments.
- Reservations: Bookings for executive rentals, local transits, and airport transfers must ideally be placed at least 4 hours in advance. Long-term fleet leasing requires a minimum of 48 hours notice.
- Driver Contact Details: Chauffeur details, contact numbers, and vehicle registration numbers will be dispatched via SMS/email 1 to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Waiting Time: A complimentary waiting period of 15 minutes is allowed for local pickups, and 45 minutes for airport pickups (from flight landing time). Beyond this, standard waiting charges apply on a pro-rata basis.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
EZOO Travels values flexibility, but late cancellations impact driver schedules and vehicle logistics.
- Standard Cancellations: Local booking cancellations must be made at least 2 hours prior to scheduled departure. Cancellations made inside the 2-hour window are subject to a nominal late-cancellation fee.
- No-Show Policy: If a passenger does not report to the designated pickup point within 30 minutes of the scheduled time without notifying the driver or dispatch desk, it will be marked as a "No-Show" and billed at the full trip rate.
- Refunds: Approved refunds for cancelled bookings are credited back to the original payment source within 5 to 7 business days.
4. Passenger Code of Conduct
To maintain our high safety and operational standards, all passengers must adhere to the following rules:
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times by front and rear passengers in accordance with Indian Motor Vehicles regulations.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or use of illegal substances inside the vehicles is strictly prohibited. Chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated or abusive passengers.
- Passengers are liable for any physical damage or deep cleaning costs caused to the vehicle due to negligence or misconduct during transit.
5. Payments, Billing, and Taxes
Our billing systems are designed to offer maximum clarity and compliance for corporate partners:
- Corporate Billing: Corporate clients are billed monthly under agreed-upon credit cycles (typically Net 15 or Net 30 days). Late payments may attract interest charges.
- Toll & Parking Fees: Unless explicitly stated, state border taxes, toll plaza fees, and airport parking fees are billed on an actual-cost basis.
- Taxes: All rates are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as mandated by the Government of India.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
EZOO Travels works tirelessly to ensure 100% punctuality. However, we are not liable for transit delays, missed flights, or direct/indirect losses resulting from road congestion, vehicle breakdowns, weather emergencies, strikes, or other Force Majeure events beyond our control.
Passengers are solely responsible for their personal belongings. While our chauffeurs always search the vehicle post-transit, EZOO Travels cannot be held responsible for items misplaced, lost, or damaged in our vehicles.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal actions arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
